In early September, we joined the Cross-Innovation-Reise with Bayern Innovativ, a three-day trip bringing together creatives, researchers, and MedTech professionals to explore intersections between art, design, and health technologies. Through hands-on workshops, guided tours, and many inspiring conversations, we looked at how creative methods can inspire new approaches to innovation in the medical field.
At the Ars Electronica, under the theme “PANIC – yes / no”, we encountered works that push the boundaries of AI, bioart, robotics, and speculative futures. These projects offered new ways to think about the relationship between humans, technology, and care — and how progressive media art can help us navigate complex social and technological transformations.
A big thanks to Bayern Innovativ, especially Johanna Lison and Julia Wirnshofer, and to the Ars Electronica team for making this experience possible and providing such an inspiring environment for exchange.
