ROBODADA Workshop: Exploring Robotic Affairs of Emotion and Connection.

How do we perceive robots? How do we want them to interact with us—and with each other?

Together with 11th-grade pupils from the Justus-von-Liebig-Gymnasium, we explored the themes of emotion and connection in robotics.

Concepts such as care, control, affection, and aggression were expressed through the design of robotic movement and form. Resulting interpretations were presented by the pupils as machine-to-machine encounters, opening a discussion over the development and meaning of robotic affairs.
